Hebrews 10:23-25 [Passion]
“So now we must cling tightly to the hope that lives within us, knowing that God always keeps his promises! Discover creative ways to encourage others and to motivate them toward acts of compassion, doing beautiful works as expressions of love. This is not the time to pull away and neglect meeting together, as some have formed the habit of doing, because we need each other! In fact, we should come together even more frequently, eager to encourage and urge each other onwards as we anticipate that day dawning.”
He who is faithful, will do it! God hasn’t broken a promise yet, and He never will. He is the promise keeper we can trust in and cling to in every season. What I love most about this scripture is that as we understand the goodness and faithfulness of God, it should stir us not only inwardly, but outwardly as well. This love and renewed hope we’ve experienced should cause us to better love and encourage those around us. Today (and really for the rest of life!), let’s come up with CREATIVE ways to encourage one another. Take time out of your day to think of others, pray for others, and thoughtfully pour into others. We are called to cover the earth, and that can only happen when we stop fixing our eyes on ourselves and start searching for ways to love others in extravagant ways!
